My first one

As you know tablets have been around a while now, at first there were so few, now there are too many.

Believe it or not, i haven't owned a tablet before, even being a geek and liking technology i didn't have a tablet until yesterday. I was going to post this yesterday but obviously i was busy... with my new tablet :D BTW there are 2 reasons why i didn't get a tablet before, first money and second i wasn't that attracted to afford throwing money at them.

I didn't get an iPad [which i hate for being Apple, being antisocial i dislike things "cool" people like] nor a Samsung, i did get an Acer Iconia B1-A71, these are its specs:
CPU MTK 8317T dual core 1.2 GHz
Memory RAM 512 MB DDR3 [i'm ignorant of its speed *rolls eyes*]
Storage 8 GB [expandable to 32 GB]
Resolution 1024 x 600
7" screen
Conectivity: WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0
OS: Android 4.1.2

When choosing this tablet i took in mind several factors, for example being an Android tablet, dual core cpu, ddr3 memory ram, wifi, bluetooth, g sensor, microphone jack among others. I know there are better tablets out there but i decided to get this for a test drive and i'm loving it so far. It works great and it's kinda cheap compared to others, besides it looks nice and feel awesome too, touch screen is really great.

I already installed some apps, including skype, email services, some games and tools too. In tools area i got this nice app [remote system monitor] to monitor my PC right from my tablet, i love it because i can see how my PC is working while i'm gaming, monitoring temperature mostly, it's just great.

So if you ask me how i feel using a tablet, i feel great, it's really useful and so far i look it as an extension of my PC, i mean i can check my email, messages in skype, game a little and syncing data between my PC and my tablet. I don't have to turn on my powerful PC just to check emails or listen some music, not anymore. I'm enjoying my little droid tablet :D
